Sue is a Partner and founding member of ACK Media Law.  She advises on all aspects of media law on matters ranging from defamation, privacy and compliance issues for clients which include film and TV companies, print and on-line publishers.

 

A large part of Sue's work is providing pre-publication advice to her clients which include Fifty Shades Limited. She provides content clearance advice for television and film projects and has advised on a number of high profile films  and television series including 'Plebs' for ITV, and CBBC’s Jamie Johnson series.   

 

Sue advises on a range of media disputes and has acted for clients such as Reed Business Information, publishers of The Estates Gazette, the publishers of the New Scientist magazine, in successful libel and copyright litigation.  She also specialises in brand and reputation management and currently acts for EL James, the author of Fifty Shades of Grey.
